Durante esse per\u00edodo, foram registrados nos teatros epis\u00f3dios conflituosos, como pateadas, disputas pol\u00edticas, repress\u00e3o policial, entre outras manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es ruidosas e violentas. Paralelamente, destaca-se a crescente presen\u00e7a da pol\u00edcia nas salas de espet\u00e1culo, com o objetivo de conter as manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es das plateias, al\u00e9m da institui\u00e7\u00e3o da censura, voltada para a qualifica\u00e7\u00e3o da cena nacional e a educa\u00e7\u00e3o dos espectadores segundo os ideais civilizat\u00f3rios.
